by decision of the Director General of AFNOR on July 5, 2004 taking effect on

August 5, 2004.

Replaces clause 6 of the approved standard NF HD 1000 (classification index:

P 93-500) dated December 1988.

Correspondence The European standard EN 12811-1:2003 has the status of French standard.

Analysis This document determines the requirements relating to the performances and the

general design of scaffolds.

These requirements apply to scaffold structures which stability is ensured by the

adjoining building, however, they are generally applicable to other scaffolds.
