This British Standard is the UK implementation of
EN IEC 60598‑1:2024. It is identical to IEC 60598‑1:2024. It supersedes
BS EN IEC 60598‑1:2021+A11:2022, which will be withdrawn on 31
December 2027.
The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted to Technical
Committee CPL/34/4, Luminaires.
A list of organizations represented on this committee can be obtained on
request to its committee manager.
