Abstract: The technical requirements for the design, fabrication, testing, and installation of a gas-

insulated substations are covered. The parameters to be supplied by the purchaser are set, and the

technical requirements for the design, fabrication, testing, and installation details to be furnished by

the manufacturer are established.
