INTRODUCTION
.
This
cooperative
study
on
methods
of
testing
for
abrasion
of
concrete
floor
surfaces
was
first
initiated
by
Mr.
R.
F.
Ytterberg,
member
of
Subcommittee
Ill-m,
whose
close
cooperation
and
surveillance
throughout
the
entire
program
was
very
much
appreciated.
During
the
spring,
summer
and
fall
of
1969,
the
cooperative
abrasion
test
programs
were
performed
at
Davis
Hall,
University
of
California,
Berkeley,
California
and
at
the
Research
and
Development
Laboratories
of
Portland
Cement
Association,
Skokie,
Illinois.
The
program
at
Berkeley
was
under
the
general
supervision
of
Professor
Raymond
E.
Davis,
member
of
Subcommittee
Ill-m,
and
under
the
immediate
and
detailed
supervision
of
Professor
G.
E.
Troxell.
The
program
at
Skokie
was
under
the
general
supervision
of
Mr.
Paul
Klieger,
member
and
Secretary
of
ASTM
C-9,
and
under
the
immediate
and
detailed
supervision
of
Mr.
C.
H.
Brinkerhoff,
Research
Engineer
of
the
Concrete
Research
Section.
Abrasion
tests
were
made
on
nine
rounds
of
four
different
floor
slab
specimens
for
the
main
purpose
of
determin-
ing
the
relative
merits
of
the
different
methods
of
test
as
well
as
the
reproducability
of
two
independent
laboratories
2200
miles
apart.
At
Berkeley
two
different
types
of
machines
were
used,
while
at
Skokie
three
different
types
of
machines
were
used
for
the
various
methods
of
test.
The
objective
of
each
method
of
test
was
to.
measure
the
resistance
of
floor
surfaces
to
abrasion
under
conditions
which
might
simulate
those
to
which
actual
floor
constructions
may
be
subjected.
The
reason
for
having
nine
rounds
of
the
same
floor
finish
was
to
test
the
reproducibility
of
each
method
of
test.
The
1969
series
of
abrasion
testing
has
been
com-
pleted.
The
results
of
this
testing
program
from
each
laboratory
is
being
reported
separately.
The
object
of
this
report
is
to
present
the
results
of
only
that
portion
of
the
test
program
which
was
conducted
in
Skokie
at
the
Portland
Cement
Association
Laboratories.
Discussions
and
opinions
of
the
writer
relative
to
the
various
methods
of
test
have
been
included.

摘要:

ASTM RR-C09-1015 1996 是一项由美国材料与试验协会发布的关键性研究报告,专注于耐火材料性能测试方法的验证与标准化。该文档记录了1996年进行的环形耐火材料样品在高温下的抗压强度与热稳定性数据,旨在为工业窑炉、钢铁冶炼及陶瓷制造领域提供可靠的材料评估依据。通过严格的实验室间重复性试验,该标准确保了测试结果的可比性与可复现性,帮助工程师和质检人员选择符合高温作业要求的耐火砖、浇注料等产品。对于涉及耐火材料研发、质量控制或采购的专业人士而言,掌握此标准有助于降低设备故障风险,并优化
